GringoRent-A-Car is a Florida based rental car company with a vehicle depot on Margarita Island.

The key problem is that most car rental companies on Margarita Island do not have a web site and the ones who do, generally do not offer complete online booking. If they do, their Customer Service Representatives may not speak English and when you get to Margarita their contracts will be in Spanish. It can be difficult and very frustrating renting a car when you get here if you do not have reservations and are not fluent in Spanish.

 

Having once been a tourist prior to becoming nationalized, and then not speaking Spanish, the company's founder realizes how frustrating the car rental experience can be. After a day or two of travel getting to Margarita, our founder realizes you don't need the frustration of dealing with a language you are not fluent in.

 

Signing a contract in a language you do not understand can be frightening, to say the least. Our rental agreement is in English and Spanish. All of the Customer Service Representatives speak English, that is very welcoming after a long flight. We also have a representative whose first language is French.

 

You will be greeted as soon as you disembark with your luggage at the airport and taken to your car a few steps away or your car can be delivered to your hotel at no extra charge. You will find your car clean, gassed up and ready to go. A complementary map is also provided. No need to worry about returning the car with a full tank of gas, the gas is on us. Should your arriving flight be delayed, even substantially, do not worry a quick call to us with the alternate arrival time is all it takes.
